Overview

Discover Belize one sunrise at a time. Tucked beneath the palms and just a short walk from the Caribbean Sea, this pastel beach house was designed for slow mornings, salty afternoons, and evenings that always last longer than planned. Whether you're floating in the pool, sipping coffee on the wraparound porch, or heading into town for fresh seafood and sunset cocktails, every day here moves at island speed. The identity had to feel like the place itself — elevated, warm, and unmistakably Belize.

The mark

A circular emblem pairs a hand-drawn bungalow with the Caribbean's waves, wrapped in the full name and 'Placencia, Belize.' It reads as a stamp of place — equally at home on a welcome sign, a coaster, or a phone screen — with a standalone bungalow illustration for larger moments.

Logo system

A high-contrast serif wordmark anchors the identity, paired with a stacked 'SB' monogram for tight spaces and social avatars. Both flex across the full palette so the brand can shift with the light — sandy and warm by day, deep and moody at dusk.

Color

The palette reflects the authentic character of Belize rather than expected tropical clichés. Rich, grounded tones — bougainvillea plum, maya sand, barrier blue — are balanced with soft coastal neutrals and airy pastels, a flexible system that stays sophisticated across digital, print, and environmental applications while keeping the warmth of a boutique beach escape.

Type

The typography balances the refined elegance of a boutique retreat with the relaxed character of island living. CoFo Raffine brings editorial sophistication to headlines, Rock Salt Pro adds a handwritten warmth reminiscent of beach signage and welcome notes, and The Seasons keeps longer-form copy approachable and highly legible.

In the wild

The system was built for real guest touchpoints — property signage, playful pool-and-beach rules, and a social presence — so every interaction, from the front gate to the feed, feels like part of the same stay.
